As of the 2025 season, cartridge filter pumps have a cartridge indicator. This indicator is on the top lid of the filter pump. The green colour means that the cartridge is fine and does not need to be cleaned. Yellow means the cartridge needs to be cleaned. A red indicator means the cartridge is very dirty and needs cleaning or replacement.
