The test strips can measure chlorine, pH, alkalinity and water hardness. We recommend to test the water values every day in the beginning. The pH value of the water should be between 6,8 and 7,6, the alkalinity between 60 and 120 ppm and the free chlorine between 2 and 4 ppm.
Please follow the steps below to use the test strips.
| Step 1: | Dip the entire strip in the water for 1 second (do not keep the strip in the water for too long). |
| Step 2: | Do not shake excess water from the strip, a drop of water must remain on each square. |
| Step 3: | Hold the strip horizontally for 15 seconds. |
| Step 4: | Read the results immediately. |
| Step 5: | Compare the colours on the strip with the colors in the picture. |
