Relax! The airbed is not leaking air

After the first inflations, the inflatable bed may appear to be leaking air - but in fact there is a natural expansion of the material. It is recommended to inflate the mattress a few times and leave it to settle into the correct shape.

Can I put an airbed on a conventional bed frame?

Inflatable beds can be placed on a platform or a flat or fixed surface. Old or damaged bed frames can reduce the comfort of your airbed and even cause damage to the bed itself. INTEX recommends using a firm, smooth surface.

Can I use other brands of pumps to inflate airbeds?

Yes, you can use other brands, but it is advisable to use an INTEX pump. INTEX pumps are specially designed for our airbeds. Other brands may not be suitable.

Can I use a patch on the suede/velvet parts of the airbed? Will they stick to the suede/velvet parts?

Patches only work on smooth vinyl surfaces. For suede surfaces, you should use fine sandpaper and remove the suede. Then the patch will adhere perfectly.

Where can I get my airbed, boat, pool or PureSpa tub repaired?

The service centers only repair the electrical parts of hot tubs and selected types of defects of inflatable tubs. Other products such as inflatable boats, airbeds or pools cannot be repaired, but we do offer spare parts for them that you can purchase from us.

Sand filter pump, saltwater system - power shut-off, timers

After a power failure, most INTEX sand filters and solinators restart the last program set. Older filtration models from 2019-2020 will not save the program. The use of a timer is technically possible, but INTEX does not offer it.

Self-cleaning function of the saltwater system electrode

The SELF-CLEAN function allows the solinator electrode to self-clean by changing polarity at set intervals. During the process, chlorine is still being generated and after a power failure the solinator continues the cycle according to the last setting.

Yes, the saltwater system remembers the last setting and continues the program when the power supply is restored.

Does the sand filter remember its last setting even if the power goes out?

Most sand filter pumps remember the last setting and continue the program when the power is restored. This does not apply to sand filter pump units manufactured in 2019 and the first quarter of 2020. You can find the date of manufacture on the barcode label, which is usually located on the base of the motor and is in the format: year, month, day (example 20230519).

What does error E81 on the spa hot tub mean?

The reason for the E81 error message on the hot tub may be due to a faulty RCD, base not paired with the control panel, large distance between the control panel and the control base unit, a low charge on the control panel, or other malfunction in the motor part of the hot tub. Test the RCD first. If you have pressed the TEST button on the current protector, you have de-energized the base. Turn on the RESET (RÜCKSETZEN) button again, this will restore the power supply to the motor base. The wireless control panel could've been showing E81 because it was running on its own rechargeable battery while the motor base was without power.
