An error 90 on a solarator indicates poor or no water flow. If the solinator is properly wired and filtration is running correctly, then the venting, filter media, water level, compatibility of all equipment, electrode and flow sensor should be checked.

The offered variants may vary. If you buy the saltwater system separately, pay attention to the connecting parts, the pump power that the saltwater system needs and the maximum volume of water for which the saltwater system is designed.

Will the saltwater system work without the filtration running?
No, a saltwater system will never work without filtration. The saltwater system does not have its own pump to draw water from the pool. It is essential that the saltwater system is connected BEHIND (AFTER) the filter pump and that the filtration is on. If the saltwater system is turned on without filtration, the saltwater system will not turn on and most likely an error message 90 (insufficient water flow) will appear. At the same time, however, the saltwater system will not be damaged, it will just remain idle and not produce chlorine. If you have the filter pump with built-in saltwater system, the saltwater system will automatically switch on the filtration.

Saltwater System Without Filtration
The solinator cannot operate without the filtration on because it does not have its own pump to pump the water. If it is connected to the filtration with the solinator, it automatically switches on with it. Without filtration it will remain idle and display a water flow error.

Can I use the saltwater system with a small pool?
You can use the saltwater system with any pool where you also use a filter pump that draws water from the pool. Without the filtration, the saltwater system will not work. The saltwater system does not have its own pump, it must be connected in the system behind the filter pump. When selecting a saltwater system, always follow two parameters: the maximum water volume for which the saltwater system model is designed and the pump power/flow rate that the saltwater system needs.

Can I program the INTEX saltwater system like other electronic devices to switch on at a different time each day or for a different length of time?
If you have a saltwater system model that can be controlled remotely via an app, you can program a different saltwater system operation for each day. Saltwater system models without a wifi app cannot be programmed this way. You can only select the length of the operation time and the saltwater system will turn itself back on at the same time every day. The filtration also needs to be adjusted to this, without filtration the saltwater system will not work. Technically, it is possible to use a timer. However, INTEX does not offer any timers and cannot be held responsible for the suitability of timers from other manufacturers.

Why use a saltwater system?
The INTEX saltwater system is a device designed to maintain the cleanliness of the pool water. The saltwater system produces natural chlorine obtained by electrolysis of salt. Just add salt to the pool water and the saltwater system takes care of the chlorine production. Chlorine kills bacteria, algae and other organic materials. The chlorine produced by the saltwater system is odourless, the water is not salty and the chlorine is not visible to the naked eye. With a saltwater system, you get cleaner and fresher water thanks to natural chlorine, which is suitable for both children and those who suffer from allergies.

How to set the operating time of the saltwater system?
The saltwater system is equipped with a timer that works automatically. Once the desired number of hours has been programmed and the operating cycle is complete, the system will automatically return to work for the same amount of time the following day. It is essential that the filter pump is also set correctly, i.e. that it is switched on before the saltwater system and that the filtration is switched off after the saltwater system cycle has finished. Without the filtration on, the saltwater system will not work.
