Black spots around the ring are commonly caused by the use of sunscreen that floats on the surface and then settles on the pool walls. Clean the inflatable ring after each use. When not in use, cover the pool with a cover sheet. For better hygiene, use a skimmer daily to clean the water surface and change the water 1-2 times per season.

How do I patch a small crack or hole?
Only pinholes and small cracks that occur on a flat surface (in welds, joints and edges) can be glued with a higher percentage of success. If the defect is on a suede surface, then before gluing, remove the suede from the patch area with a fine emery cloth and degrease the area with white spirit. Then apply the patch. You can use any PVC patch and any PVC glue for gluing. Intex does not manufacture PVC adhesives.
