How to drain a swimming pool using the siphon principle Option A Connect a garden hose to the water supply. Place the free end of the hose in the swimming pool. Run water from the water supply into the hose. When the water starts to flow into the swimming pool, leave the end in the pool submerged in the pool water and turn off the water supply. Then unscrew the end from the water supply. This end will start to flow water in the opposite direction, i.e. out of the swimming pool.  Option B Immerse the garden hose completely in the swimming pool so that air can escape from both ends and the hose fills with water. Then fold the hose approximately 30 cm from the end at one end so that water does not flow out of this end. Remove the folded end of the hose and straighten the hose where you want the pool water to flow out.  

How to store a swimming pool over the winter?
You can leave your pool outside over the winter (year-round) by following the procedure outlined in the user manual. Or you can fold it up and store it. You will then need to clean it first with mild soap and water. Clean all parts thoroughly and make sure they are completely dry before storing. Drying may take several days. Then dust the pool with cosmetic powder or talcum powder to prevent the pool walls from sticking together during storage and to absorb any remaining moisture.

Salt for saltwater systems, swimming pools, and whirlpools
Salt can be used to disinfect the pool water by electrolysis in the salinator, during which chlorine is produced. There are different salts with different admixtures, but we recommend buying only pool salt certified for use with solinators to avoid unnecessary problems.

What water is suitable for whirlpools
Hot tub water should be regularly tested and adjusted for pH, hardness and chlorine content. Water that is too hard can contaminate the filter and pump, so it is important to treat it with pool chemicals. It is not recommended to add oils, perfumes or cosmetics to the hot tub.

Can the pool liner design fade over time?
Too many chemicals can damage any pool and its users, so it is recommended to add only the amount recommended by the pool chemical manufacturer. Improper use of chemicals (especially excessive use of purchased chlorine) can change the color of the inside of the pool liner. Will the water in my pool be salty if I use the saltwater system?
No, the amount of salt in the pool is very low. So if you add the right amount of salt (it depends on the exact model of the saltwater system, please refer to the user manual), the water will not smell or taste like salt. The only thing you will notice is that the water is cleaner, softer and fresher without the smell or taste of chemicals or the typical chlorine found in swimming pools.
