Deluxe wall mount skimmer

The Deluxe Skimmer is used to capture debris from the pool surface and is compatible with various types of INTEX pools. Proper installation includes attachment to the pool structure and connection to the filter pump. The skimmer improves the cleanliness of the surface, but it is advisable to disconnect it in time for full filtration.

Does the Intex wall light require special tools, drilling or cutting the pool wall to install?

No. The Intex Wall Light does not require any special tools, drilling or cutting of the pool wall. The wall light uses magnetic waves to generate power and hold itself in place. The location of the wall light can be changed quickly and easily without tools or damage to the pool wall.

After installing the hanging skimmer and connecting it to a filter pump, the skimmer will start to vibrate and protrude from the water surface. What should I do?

Do not use aggressive cleaners or abrasive materials that could damage the surface to remove limescale. We recommend a toothpaste, which is gentle and effective. You can also try baking soda or very diluted kitchen vinegar, but handle the vinegar with care to avoid damaging the material.

Can the outer part of the wall light (outside the pool) be submerged in water and is it waterproof?

The outer part of the wall light is waterproof against splashing water and rain, but it is not designed to be submerged in water. If you submerge this part in water, you will void your warranty.

Will the pool walls and bottom stay clean when using a filter pump?

No. But with the proper chemicals and maintenance of the filter cartridge, the pump will keep the pool clean. You can also use a vacuum cleaner on the pool walls and bottom. You can follow up with an Intex chlorinator (Intex Krystal Clear™ Saltwater System) and a pool maintenance kit to keep your pool free of bacteria and algae. Depending on the characteristics of the local water, it may be beneficial to add a water softener, water purifier or algae treatment to the water. Alternatively, check with pool chemical dealers.
