Saltwater System Without Filtration

The solinator cannot operate without the filtration on because it does not have its own pump to pump the water. If it is connected to the filtration with the solinator, it automatically switches on with it. Without filtration it will remain idle and display a water flow error.

Can I use a different brand of ladder?

It is recommended to use INTEX ladders with INTEX pools. These are specially designed for INTEX above ground pools from 91 to 132 cm.

For each INTEX ladder model it is indicated for which pool height it is designed.

General pool water maintenance

Proper pool water maintenance includes filtration, pH control, chlorine disinfection and algae elimination. Regular filtration and balanced chemistry help keep the water clean. A salinator can replace chlorine tablets and shock disinfection helps with green water.

Will the saltwater system work without the filtration running?

No, a saltwater system will never work without filtration. The saltwater system does not have its own pump to draw water from the pool. It is essential that the saltwater system is connected BEHIND (AFTER) the filter pump and that the filtration is on. If the saltwater system is turned on without filtration, the saltwater system will not turn on and most likely an error message 90 (insufficient water flow) will appear. At the same time, however, the saltwater system will not be damaged, it will just remain idle and not produce chlorine. If you have the filter pump with built-in saltwater system, the saltwater system will automatically switch on the filtration.
