Pour the correct amount of salt evenly over the entire surface of the pool. Do not add salt through the skimmer, it may clog. To speed up the dissolution of the salt, you can spread the salt evenly over the bottom of the pool, for example with a broom. The salt should not remain in only one place on the bottom.
