Below you will find the steps for releasing air from the sand filter pump. Please check whether you have a 4- or 6-way valve. If the air is not properly released from the sand filter pump, this will affect the performance of the sand filter pump.

Release air for the sand filter pump with a 4-way valve

Step 1:  Turn off the sand filter pump and remove the plug from the power outlet.
Step 2: Turn the 4-way valve to the N position.
Step 3: Open the air valve on the motor housing.
Step 4: As soon as water comes out, close it again.
Krok 5: Then loosen the cap on the drain of the 4-way valve.
Step 6: As soon as only water comes out of the drain, you can put the cap back on the drain.
Step 7: Set the 4-way valve to the filter position and turn the pump back on.

Step 1: Turn off the sand filter pump and remove the plug from the power outlet.
Step 2: Turn the 6-way valve to the N position.
Step 3: Open the air release valve on the motor housing (pre-filter).
Krok 4: As soon as only water comes out, you can close it again.
Step 5: Slightly unscrew the connection hose at the top of the 6-way valve. (Do not unscrew completely.)
Step 6: As soon as only water comes out, you can tighten the connection hose again.
Step 7: Set the 6-way valve back to the filter position and turn the pump back on.
